Creating a Dynasty

After Karzonis, Orono decided to act on his feelings for Nadia. In the captain's quarters of the Cadfael, he asked her if she would marry him. Nadia accepted and after a modest celebration on Coruscant, they were made husband and wife. However this did not sit well with the Jedi Council. The Masters confronted Orono and attempted to talk him out of the marriage, claiming it was a complete violation of the Jedi Code. Orono sternly replied that since he and his wife had conquered death, the Code was nothing to him, and a "beacon for the deluded". As he said this, his words were laced with the power of the Force, and when a foolish Jedi touched Nadia, his skin began to boil and liquify. When the Masters asked what had happened. She would be sent to the world of Karzonis, an industrial hub home to a corrupt government and hordes of Dark Jedi. Still unsure of her complete mastery of the Force, Orono protested vehemently. The other Jedi took drastic actions to keep him from joining Nadia, impounding his ship and confiscating his lightsaber. However this would only delay what was to come. While Nadia initially decimated the forces there, Governor Hyrkis came to oppose her. A demented madman with a great deal of strength in the Force, he came at Nadia with every power he knew. It was here Orono intervened. In a rage, he wrenched his lightsaber from the hands of the Jedi and after converting himself into pure energy and back again, came to Nadia's defense. His anger allowed for every length of his power to take form, with fire bursting from one hand and lightning from the other. After subduing the Governor, Orono tore the madman's chest open and healed Nadia's injuries. When he returned to the Council, they were furious, for he had broken the Jedi Code to save Nadia. Orono spat back that the Code was "a guide leading us to certain doom" and if necessary, he would destroy both the Jedi and the Sith to save her again...
