The Balmorran Palace Affair: The Summer Crow and Akaavi Spar

Celgo Zoiji had been through many adventures in his fifteen hundred year lifetime, but none was more memorable than acquiring the Summer Crow and befriending a Zabrak woman named Akaavi Spar. While carrying credits for a Republic weapon shipment, his ship was shot down and broken beyond repair by Sith fighters over Balmorra. After a day and a half of searching, he found the palace of K'rkola (ker-cola) the Hutt. Assuming the guise of a traveling merchant, Celgo showered the crime lord with jewels and trinkets found over the years. It was also in the palace he discovered the chief bodyguard: a Zabrak woman with demonic tattoos by the name of Akaavi Spar. Her skills were demonstrated when a squad of soldiers attempted to sack the palace. Combining brute strength and smooth form, she turned the four soldiers into broken whelps in a flash. This transfixed Celgo who had never seen a warrior with skill enough to rival his father. Then in gratitude for the extensive payment, K'rkola gave him the most advanced ship in his collection: the Summer Crow. Built by the most famous shipwrights it was equipped with the best parts available. Celgo went to accept his reward but soon discovered that there was another exactly like it except that its cargo hold was filled to the brim with every credit the crime lord had to his name. So in the dead of night, he sneaked into the hanger to try and steal the ship. To his surprise, he found Akaavi Spar guarding it. The two then engaged in vicious hand-to-hand combat, with Celgo blocking and dodging her attacks. When an opening finally appeared, Celgo used the Force to knock her out and carry her onto the Summer Crow. Before Akaavi awoke, he changed the memory of what happened to her soundly defeating him, but K'rkola forced them to leave. She asked why she was onboard the vessel, but Celgo said he didn't want her talents to go to waste and could use a fighter like her in his smuggling crew. Initially hesitant, Akaavi eventually warmed to him and they went on to become something more than just partners...

A Grand Surprise

After his venture into the future, Orono joined Darkfeir Lifetaker to defeat the Sith Emperor once and for all. Cornering him in the Imperial Palace on Dromund Kaas, they used all their power to subdue him. However their advantage was brief once the Emperor brought his considerable power to bear. It was Darkfeir that eventually found a weak point in the Emperor's defenses: overpowering his spirit. The Sith Lord's body twitched and contorted as the two fought with all their strength. After what seemed like an eternity, the Emperor's eyes changed from a deep crimson to the grey of Darkfeir's. With a few solemn words, he bid Orono farewell  and unbound the Sith Lord's body. Crimson beams of energy darted out in every direction and threatened to consume the entire palace. Orono escaped with only minutes to spare. In the ashes of the Palace, only Darkfeir's lightsaber was left. It was only days later that the rusted lightsaber began to shimmer and pulse. In a shimmering violet mist, Darkfeir emerged whole again and in an immortal form with a sly grin on his face...

A Brief Warning

Wanting to see what level of threat he faced, Orono used his new Fold Space power to reach the New Republic era. To his amusement he saw the Skywalker line had been using the very teachings he sought to destroy. Given that the Jedi were in full view of the public, it did not take long to track down the traitors to come. When he arrived he saw them doing battle with Darth Caedus, a fallen son in the Senate Plaza. Using his vast stores of power, he attacked with such speed and power that all but Luke were knocked back. Each of the Skywalkers attempted to kill Orono by sending a lightsaber through his chest, but he only laughed. When they asked why he would not become one with the Force he replied, "I am the Force!" Jaina, Luke's daughter briefly kicked him back and attempted once again to finish him off. However, as she raised her lightsaber, this gave Orono enough time to force his thoughts into her mind and he did the same with Leia. While their minds were strong, they bent to his will as quickly as leaves blown by a fall wind. To Luke's horror they ignored Orono and began attacking him instead. When Luke demanded to know what had happened to his family, Orono replied that they had been "enlightened" and, "shown the true path of the Jedi Order". As Luke lay broken and bleeding at his feet, Orono placed a secret personality that would make every Skywalker save for Luke completely obedient followers. As he began to vanish, he taunted Luke with a warning, "If it only takes me to subdue you, the full strength of my army will overwhelm you in a day." The eventual traitors could only gaze in horror at the doom that soon awaited them...

Premonitions

With the Belsavis Uprising repelled and the age of his original timeline looming, Orono delved into the future to see what lay ahead. He saw that he would be able to perpetually resist the will of the Force if he would do three things: feed information to the Sith in order to destroy stagnant teachings, strip any members of the Skywalker line of their power, and destroy an artifact known as the "Vein of Evil". This was  known as the Unholy Ritual. With such power he would last until the stars blew out like candles in the wind and planets would come and go like drops of rain, effectively until the end of time...

The Belsavis Uprising

After Xaria had been welcomed into House Zoiji, Orono received troubling news through the Force. Many star systems away, Revan was close to dying in the midst of an intense battle. Despite his wisdom and skill, his assailants dealt grievous wounds. Not wanting to lose Revan as an ally, Orono teleported him to his manor on Voss to heal his wounds. When he first appeared Revan plead for Orono to send him back so that he might end the Cold War immediately. Orono simply replied that Revan was foolish to continually risk himself in war and that it would be millennia before another of his caliber would be born should he die. To prevent this, Orono endowed him with immortality to live through the ages and prevail against the Sith. However a host of ancient evils were released while this act was performed. Beasts of empires long dead now ravaged the prison world of Belsavis. The Zoiji family soon responded and viciously attacked them. This proved a great boon for Orono, for when one beast was killed, its soul was absorbed into his Spirit Scythe increasing his power hundredfold. Xaria used her powers of necromancy to great effect, causing the beasts to rapidly decay and decompose from the inside out. The savage nature of these powers surprised even Orono, who had been slaying beings since before the current generation of Jedi was in the womb. Then the spirit of a centuries-old warlord emerged. Descended from the ancient Gen'Dai Confederacy, he could receive many mortal wounds and still survive...

Xaria Zoiji: Daughter of Death

Since her creation by Orono Zoiji, Vilerya the Goddess of Death had become a feared name in the galaxy. A master of necromancy, she could raise countless armies of the undead to aid her in combat. Since many species in the galaxy feared death, she took great pleasure in extending their suffering. However she made a rare exception for those that welcomed it. It was for such individuals that she ended their lives quickly and gave a place of paradise among their loved ones. Then she discovered one human warrior by the name of Xaria (zar-ea) fighting to the last breath to avenge her family. Just before the death blow could be dealt, Vilerya felled the attackers with her black sword and approached Xaria. She offered Xaria a place as her "Huntress of Souls", the deadliest of her fighters and the power to control the dead. Initially wary, Xaria accepted the goddess's offer. Although only fourteen years old when she entered Vilerya's tutelage, Xaria grew to be a fierce champion at only twenty-two. It was at the apex of her power that she was sent to watch over the Zoiji family, referred to by the Goddess as, "the one prize that will never be mine". Then in the early morning near Zoiji Manor on Voss, Xaria appeared. A tall, voluptuous, silver haired woman with golden eyes clad in spiked metal armor, she caught the eye of even Novon and Celgo, who had seen and loved many women in their lives. When she explained her arrival, she was welcomed with open arms into the family. The spiritual essence transfer taught to her by Orono granted her immortality, though she would remain twenty-two physically forever. Xaria also proved a quick study in the art of lightsaber combat, adopting a single-bladed lightsaber with gold coloring and an onyx hilt. Her power grew to such an extent that only the combined strength of the Zoiji family could subdue her. In turn Xaria taught her family how to best control the undead.

While the strength of the Zoiji family had reached its zenith, they would need every ounce of power to stem the Belsavis Uprising...

The Crypt of Tears

After an additional three thousand and seventy-eight years of life, Orono saw one of his worst fears realized. With thousands dead on both sides, the Republic and Empire were calling for an end to the bloodshed. Sensing that the Sith would simply use this as an opportunity to destroy the Republic, there was only one choice: faking the deaths of both his House and himself. It was on Coruscant that the entirely of House Zoiji was attacked by thousands of "Sith warriors" (really illusions created by Orono) and gradually succumbed to their wounds. The Republic populace could only watch in horror as their greatest heroes were killed before their very eyes. When the dust settled only a small group of corpses remained. As House Zoiji had been a close friend and ally to anyone in the Republic, thousands gathered to mourn them. The people's grief was such that their tears nearly flooded the streets as the Zoiji family was buried. Their grief soon turned to anger at the Empire for killing the Zoiji family. Driven by vengeance, millions of worked at the factories and bases longer every day, training so that they might avenge the vile act they witnessed. The full strength of this army was brought to bear in three year's time. Where once only a handful of ships entered Imperial space over Dromund Kaas, twelve million ships carrying twice as many soldiers swarmed the Imperial battlements. Any ship accounted for from civilian freighters to luxury liners and battleships, each was carrying several weapons. When the battle reached the planet's surface, the soldiers fought with a savagery that surprised even the most seasoned Sith Lords. When the Imperial Army lay dead or dying, the soldiers gathered explosives and set fire to many temples and supply buildings. This also destroyed barriers in the Force that prevented the Zoiji family from resurrecting themselves. As they emerged from a flash of light the Zoiji family was welcomed to the great joy of the people.

However what they did not realize was that the Sith Emperor had several hidden laboratory worlds, with the technology to spawn quintillions of soldiers to conquer the galaxy...
