Operation Skeleton Key

In the years after their return, the Orion Brigade led by John "Grizzly" Kynlon had truly regained their fame. With their former commanders now executed, they were the pride of the Republic military. This entitled them to cybernetic replacements to heal their injuries and prototype weapons and armor.

Their newest mission was to infiltrate an Imperial research outpost and obtain all information relating to "Gate of Oblivion" project. The Empire had been attempting to create a device that could transport entire armies to anywhere in the galaxy within moments. After dispatching several platoons of soldiers, the Orion Brigade collected all the data and one other object: an intensely blue crystal by the name of "Winter's Spawn". This was aptly named for whenever someone touched it, they were frozen instantly. Only when inside a specially designed container was the Orion Brigade safe from its effects. The crystal was then brought back to Orono Zoiji. Since the "Volcano's Heart" had been destroyed by the stress of its power in the last battle, he was in need of a new color crystal. When placed inside his lightsaber, the blade was endowed with the power to summon the fiercest blizzards and freeze entire armies in place...

The Face Stealer

With Dromund Kaas successfully damaged, Orono now had to deal with belligerent generals on Coruscant. Led by Garza, they were beginning to doubt his leadership. If they were able to mobilize, Orono would be fighting his own army. To solve this problem, he contacted skilled facial surgeon and Imperial defector Doctor Necronis and arranged for an "unfortunate accident". Garza and the other generals were sent to Axial Park on Corellia into a "safe house" with troops secretly loyal to Orono as an escort. Once inside the doors sealed shut and the generals could only stand shocked as they were gunned down by their squad. Moments after the squad left, a defoliator bomb landed on the safe house. Then Doctor Necronis went to work, selecting four soldiers and modifying them until they were perfect replicas of the dead generals. A day after, the "generals" came before the Senate and swore loyalty to Orono's regime. Now with the Rift Alliance, the Supreme Chancellor and all the generals on his side, Orono effectively controlled the Republic itself...

The Century of Glorious Victory

With an army of resurrected soldiers at his back, Orono marched on the Imperial capital of Dromund Kaas. Ever the bold warrior, Darkfeir charged ahead and slew countless soldiers with skill that made the Sith Lords leading them seem like children swinging sticks. Orono soon joined in, the crimson blade of his Spirit Scythe ending the lives of many foes. The planet itself seemed to be affected by his power, with the storms growing more intense and the native beasts forming packs to overwhelm any unlucky Sith in their way. The Tethers of Memory he had given his army had a noticeable effect: they were invulnerable to harm. This led to even the Sith Emperor being driven out of his palace and believed dead when a blast from the Heart of the Void brought the palace down on him and crushed him...

The Tomb of Souls and An Old Friend

With House Zoiji now founded and a new helm forged for him, Orono embarked on a solo expedition into the Netherworld of the Force. It was on this journey that he discovered a long lost realm: the Tomb of Souls. Inside he found thousands of stone graves, marked with names new and old and an ancient machine built for their resurrection. One grave bore a name that harkened back to Orono's original lifetime: Darkfeir Lifetaker. It was after reading this name that he decided to resurrect all of the Republic's honored dead to fight in one last war. However Orono encountered a complication when attempting to leave the Tomb. The souls would be drawn back to their graves if they attempted to leave. To correct this, he gave each of them a Tether of Memory, one binding reason for returning to the physical world once more. Upon reaching Darkfeir's  grave, he was exactly as Orono remembered him: an aged but strong man clad in black robes with dark blue hair and a lightsaber with a dark violet blade. He rejoiced that he would be able to fight with an old friend one last time...

The Founding of House Zoiji and Finding "The Demon"

With Vorgon the Eternal now on their side Orono and Nadia were better equipped to defeat the "Mad King of Alderaan". An insane noble with deep connections to the Force, he sought to unite Alderaan under his rule. Operating out of the Stone Islands with House Thul, he had amassed a large army. However it stood little chance against Vorgon and the Heart of the Void. The "Mad King" and House Thul  were given a chance to surrender, but refused in defiance. For what seemed like an eternity, fire burned until House Thul and the Stone Islands were in flames. To celebrate the defeat the two greatest threats to Alderaan and the galaxy, there was a chorus of feasting, drinking and celebration at House Alderaan. However the joyous event was halted by a sudden surprise: the "Mad King" entering riddled with severe burns. In a rage, he swore to kill Orono where he stood and mount his head on a spike for all to see, destroying Orono's ancient helm as a show of force. As he prepared to strike Orono, an armored figure wielding twin vibroswords leaped forward and fought the "Mad King" back. The duel was in favor of the armored figured until he was struck with a sustained blast of lightning, scarring his face down to the bone on one side. Just before the warrior could be struck down, twin beams of cyan and crimson energy rocketed from Orono's hand and sent the madman flying. This gave the warrior enough time to recover and charge at the "Mad King", both swords drawn. Instead of granting the tyrant a quick death, he plunged his sword into his head and twisted until it was ripped off his neck in a loud crack and a river of blood. Approaching the warrior, Orono asked who he was and why he had killed the villain so savagely. The scarred man replied that he was Kozin Cvarross (se-varr-oss)and that the "Mad King" had once been his brother. Many years before, they both held happy lives until Xovo, the brother was seduced by dark powers and desired galactic domination. This led to the destruction of everything Kozin held dear: his home, his city and his family. Until moments before, Kozin had vowed to kill his brother but now that the deed was done, he saw little reason to live. Just before Kozin cut his  own throat, Orono froze him in place and told him that if desired, Kozin would have a place as bodyguard in House Zoiji as the immortal warrior Kozin Zoiji. Kozin agreed and was bequeathed with strength and endurance far beyond any man and a grey suit of armor with demon's head pauldrons to reflect his tenacity. Afterwards, a new Royal House was founded in the Zoiji name, its crest a crimson and cyan sword crossed over a shield of stars. To reflect his new station and replace the destroyed helm, a new one was forged by House Alderaan with a dark grey face and silver crown adorning its top...

The Lazarus Vault and Vorgon the Eternal

After the conclusion of the War of Monarchs the unthinkable happened. During a scouting mission Orono and Nadia were subdued and captured after a battle that cost the Empire 900,000 soldiers. Intrigued by the power and experience the two possessed, the Sith Emperor sought to clone them. For three decades many scientists tried to replicate the undead Jedi but all failed. Several samples were taken from Orono's body until little but a robed skeleton remained. The true horror came for the scientists when they progressed to Nadia. Just before a hand could touch her, Orono's skeleton pulsed with crimson energy and charged at them. The fear-stricken men and women could only stand paralyzed as a red mist began to envelope them. That was the last thing they ever saw. Blood and organs swirled around Orono in a vortex as he restored himself to human form. It was then that he freed Nadia and discovered thousands of mutilated prisoners. Sensing the hatred they felt for the Empire, Orono gathered their souls together to create the deadliest creature ever devised: a Spirit Scourge. In place of a hundred thousand men there stood an immensely large Krayt dragon with jet black scales, dark red eyes and sinewy wings. Unlike other creatures, this beast had breath that could turn the strongest soldier into nothing but bone, the ability to breathe in the vacuum of space, increase its size one thousandfold and its scales were all but impenetrable. Naming itself Vorgon the Eternal, the beast agreed to follow Orono if it was allowed to slay its former captors. Within minutes Vorgon was upon the fortress that housed the "Boy Tyrant" and his family. The entirety of the Empire's forces were sent to kill the beast, but each returned either as liquid metal or a pile of bones. The "Boy Tyrant" was left with nothing but a set of swords and powered armor to defend himself. In a flash the twelve year old boy was in Vorgon's clutches and begging for mercy. However Vorgon was not in a merciful mood. Digging two of its talons into the boy's eyes it both bled him dry and burned him alive. As numerous Imperial corpses lay in burning piles, Orono and Nadia rode Vorgon back to Coruscant...

War of the Monarchs

After defeating the specter of the First Son, Orono was summoned to deal with a major social revolution. The ruling House Cyron on Vakaris XI, had been battling its own populace in a perpetual land and space battle. In an effort to turn the tide, they had asked the Republic for help. Orono considered this at first, until he heard the people's side of the story. Contrary to what the monarchy had said, the people had been starved and worked to death for years. Now led by Xaer (zaer) Vokon who had lost his sons and daughters to the government, they had become a resistance. This was all Orono needed to hear. Bombers flooded the skies, walkers and tanks fought side by side with soldiers, and the Heart of the Void scorched thousands of targets. In a few months the government plead for its life. However they never truly got the chance to surrender. As the five rulers came to sign the treaty, Xaer charged forward from a crowd, his chest riddled with explosives. The last anyone saw was a bright flash, leaving behind five charred corpses. Unlike the monarchs Xaer was never found and ascended to martyrdom...

The Return of the First Son

Then, in the midst of the Cold War, a dark specter returned. The disembodied spirit of the First Son Syo Bakarn, it had come back to seek vengeance on Orono Zoiji. It was in the center or Coruscant Plaza the two squared off. As before the two dueled viciously once again. As powerful as the specter was, it had become a fractured shadow of its former self. Then as Orono's wife Nadia entered, the duel changed from one of lightsaber skill to a battle of willpower. Seeking to exploit Orono's care for Nadia, the spirit attempted to possess her body. In the blink of an eye, Orono leapt in front of her and absorbed the spirit into himself. After a lengthy duel of wills, Orono summoned the power of both sides of the Force and destroyed the specter in a blast of power. He and the large crowd gathered there could only watch as the shade of the First Son fractured and disappeared in a storm of crimson energy...

The Darkened Century: Remnants of Dissention

With Revan now successfully leading the charge against the Sith, Orono now had time to deal with troubling events on Republic soil. To do this he formed the Unified Counter-Treason Initiative(U.C.T.I). This was a secret police organization to monitor and regulate all politicians in Republic territory. If any were found to be involved in war crimes or anything that could give the Sith an advantage, they would be immediately executed. One particular situation was solved by this group. The first was a Senator who had been abducting warriors to fight to the death in his personal arenas. While the courts did eventually find out and strip him of rank, Orono felt this was not enough. To this end he trained an assassin, Kovis Dragomir to find and kill the former Senator. A formal industrial worker and son of one of the warriors killed, Dragomir took personal pleasure in killing the Senator. Sneaking into the Senator's apartment, Dragomir lay un wait until he had the chance to severely beat him and throw the traitor out the window...

Releasing a Legend

A few weeks after the creation of the Spirit Scythe, Orono received reports of a lone Jedi being held in a top-secret prison. Wanting to examine the prison, he and his wife Nadia departed to Necron IV, a Sith prison world. There were substantial defenses there but all fell to the pair of elite Jedi. Soon they reached a large cell bound by currents of electric energy with an armored figure bearing a lightsaber and a Mandalorian mask inside. It took a great portion of power to open the cell, as it had been fortified by the Sith Emperor himself. No sooner had the cell been broken that seventeen Sith Lords entered the room, lightsabers drawn. However, they were all defeated by the masked warrior. As the last Lord lay dying, the warrior removed his mask and revealed: Revan, a legendary Jedi of ages past. Distraught by the suffering the Emperor had brought, he saw little point in fighting. As he proclaimed this, ghosts from his old life appeared and encouraged him to fight on. Orono then offered to take him back to Tython in order to share all Revan had learned. Along the way, the two discussed the judgement of the Jedi Order. Revan was proud another had followed in his footsteps, for in his lifetime he had defied the Order to go and fight in war. Even after his fall and redemption he did not follow the Code, only what felt right. When they landed, they were both greeted with great reverence as two of the six most powerful Force-users in existence. As promised Revan shared everything he had learned and went on to fight the Sith Empire once again...
